Microgaming Releases "The Great Albini" Slot

This story was published more than 5 years ago.

Internet casino game developer Microgaming is looking to bring some magic to the reels with the launch of their newest game "The Great Albini", which puts you in league with a great magician that looks to make some wins appear.

The Great Albini is a 5 reel, 25 payline video slot that has a stage on the backset of the screen, with the magician looking to do his show. The game has a bunch of icons that have a magic theme to it, and include a canary, thimble, cards, target board, and the magician. Features in the game include wilds, re-spins, free spins, and a Mystery Box feature that gives players the chance to win even more.

The slot was developed by Foxium and is being distributed exclusively by Microgaming thanks to an agreement signed between the two groups. The slot will be made available on both desktop and mobile devices.

A preview of the game can be seen below:

Microgaming's David Reynolds spoke about the game, revealing: "The Great Albini is a glittering mix of gratifying gameplay, stunningly realised visuals and a stirring soundtrack. Players will feel the glow of the limelight as they are immersed in The Great Albini, with the opportunity to win a staggering 4,000x their bet. The addition of the Bonus Box by Foxium alongside the superb respin and potentially very rewarding free spin features makes for an exciting player experience."

Foxium's CEO Ake Andre added: "Our latest exclusive game release through Microgaming is set to enchant and entertain players, who will join us on the absorbing adventures of The Great Albini and Lily. We are confident that the combination of cinematic visuals and exciting gameplay packed with thrilling and innovative features will prove a hit with a wide variety of audiences."

Wow, the graphics and sound effect are superb. I am a bit surprised to see this video clip.

For the last year or so, most of new slots by Microgaming was to give fun rather than big win, but actually the new games were boring, because it didn't give any big wins 🙂

The Great Alnini might be different from the recent previous ones.

Yeah, the slot developers have to walk a tightrope between giving the big wins and having all their features going off a bunch. A good balance makes the game fun, but if you have all the crazy features going with tiny wins, it just sucks.

Actually i didnt like this game at all. I was playing it yesterday and i didnt like it from the first sight. Graphics is not of my taste and winnings were just few cents per spin. Not a good debut in front of my eyes:)

I'm in a total agreement with Vanilipas on this one, I played this for really only about 10-15 minutes i should add, but my experience was the exact same, small wins, the graphics were not to my liking, and thought the audio was closer to the side of annoyance than anything I could put up with for any length of time lol i mite try again one day but that day won't be soon.

At first, when I tried it for the first time, I was shocked when I noticed that it was a Microgaming game as it looked completely differently comparing to their other releases. Nevertheless, I gave the game a decent try and didn't enjoy it. Whenever I managed to trigger the bonus round, it paid poorly and base game paid almost nothing. Won't be playing any more.
