Evolution Wraps Up Purchase of Ezugi

Live dealer casino specialist Evolution Gaming announced this week that they've completed their purchase of rival Ezugi, strengthening their hold on the live casino market.

The purchase was worth an initial cash prize of $12 million, with an extra $6 million payable if certain conditions are met moving forward. Evolution expects the purchase to be immediately profitable for their bottom line, with the purchase expected to raise revenues in the 2-4% range this year.

Evolution is one of the leaders in the live dealer market, and they are firming up a key competitor that also has operations in the burgeoning U.S. market. It's currently unknown whether or not Ezugi will continue to operate independently, or whether they'll be rolled into Evolution's operations.
