Atlantic City Revenues Grow 12.3% in December

Atlantic City had a stellar end to 2018, as December revenues were up 12.3% from the same period in 2018, reaching $209 million in revenues at land casinos.

Key financial indicators for the month ending December 31st, 2018 were:

  • Brick and mortar revenues of $209 million, up 12.3% from the year prior
  • Slots revenues of $146.6 million, up 10.7%
  • Table revenues up 16.2% to $62.5 million
  • Online numbers were up 19.5%

Year-end land revenues were $2.51 billion, up 4% from 2017.

The best performing land casino was Resorts Casino & Hotel, which saw revenues rise 2.3% to $14.2 million. Each property other than this posted lower numbers than the year prior. The Hard Rock and Ocean Resort weren't subject to this, as they weren't open in 2017, and they brought in revenues of $23.64 million and $11.9 million, respectively.
