A lucky gambler playing Microgaming's Major Millions video slot hit it big when they hit the Major Millions Jackpot for a whopping $1,784,423, no doubt giving them a great start to the New Year.
The jackpot is the 70th that we've recorded since we started following the prize nearly ten years ago. The average prize paid out for this jackpot is $681,227, and the largest ever recorded is $2,801,619, which was hit last year. This prize was large enough that this just missed out on being a top five win by a mere four thousand dollars.
The Major Millions Jackpot is won when players are able to get five wilds to come on the game's 15th payline.
We'll be keeping up on this story and will update readers as we learn more.

Wow, that's almost tripled the average Jackpot win for this one...stunning hit and in exactly the right moment, congrats.
Does anybody know what going on next with a winner? He/she must go to the office of the casino and to make promotional videos or photos or other stuff? Does they pay money to the bank account only or for ex. skrill also? How much winner must pay of taxes and for which country?
This game has the fixed bet at $3, so it is difficult to try more than a few spins...
Regarding the tax payment by Vanilipas, I think that it depends... Many countries do not impose any taxes on the lottery wins (or online casinos) from other countries, as I heard of...some while ago.
I don't think the winners are obligated to participate in any unnecessary events, as far as I'm aware they could choose to remain anonymous if they wish.
I guess all the payment methods a player have used to deposit should be available plus probably a bank wire transfer for the Jackpot winners but that's just a guess.
As for taxes they should vary as coolsongss mentioned above...depending of your country of residence, I don't think there would it be any at all here for example.
