On Thursday online betting group Multilotto revealed that they've been granted an internet gaming license from Sweden's gaming regulator, allowing the group to offer games of chance online legally once the market's new betting laws go into effect on January 1st.
The licensing is the latest for Sweden, which has been doling out a bunch of licenses in order to get the country set up for the liberalized market. Multilotto is a bit different than most of the casino operators that are getting licenses, in that they provide access to lottery style games as well as casino options. The company uses an insurance policy style of business, where they're covered if a punter hits the correct numbers in a lottery game and win the jackpot.
Multilotto is based out of Malta and also holds licenses in the UK, Malta, and Ireland. They're primarily based out of Europe and seem keen to maintain expansion within regulated markets.

Yeah, it has to be a big news that one for the company when we know how highly rated the Swedish gambling market is.
Pretty interesting way of providing the needed funds of potential Lottery and Jackpot wins through an insurance policies, not sure how exactly that works but if they still doing it this way...then I guess there's a point in all that.
I have an account at Multilotto casino but am yet to make a deposit but after reading this article they seem to be serious with thier licensing status so I think it's safe to make a first deposit now
