This week police in the Indian town of Khajuri arrested 10 people on suspicion of illegal gambling, seizing playing cards and 104,035 rupees in the process.
The raid took place at the Aniket hotel in the city, and found that there were 10 punters playing cards and placing large bets. The defendants were being detained awaiting questioning, while a criminal complaint on the grounds of section 3 and 4 of the Gambling Act has been filed.
During the raid police seized different mobile phones from those involved in the gambling, with the call records on the devices being analyzed to see if the gambling activity is more widespread than just this small ring.
As of press time no comment from any party was available, nor were names of the accused.

Well..doesn't sound to me like too much of a gambling ring that but who knows...in most of the countries 10 guys playing poker it's not even going to be an any kind of violation of the law...but of course we don't have all the details about that story.
