Internet betting firm Boylesports announced this week that they're planning to open into the UK retail market in 2019 after it purchases shops from other operators.
The company revealed that they expect to enter the retail market by the end of the first quarter 2019, and comes as the company looks to pounce on the lower FOBT bet reduction coming next year, which will see current operators selling stores to avoid a drop in revenues. Boyle currently operates in the country with an internet gaming license, and they are in the retail business in neighboring Ireland, where they have 250 shops.
Speaking to iGamingBusiness company spokesman Lawrence Lyons said, "BoyleSports can confirm that it is in advanced talks with a number of groups in the UK with a view to having a high-street presence in the first quarter of 2019."
