Poland's Totalizator Site Set to Launch

Poland's gaming monopoly Totalizator Sportowy is gearing up to launch their new online casino and lottery site for punters within the country.

The app was being prepped for release in November or early December, and it appears that the launch will happen in that window. Poland has a strict monopoly on online betting, but there has been talk of opening the market a bit in the future. This new platform will have poker, table games, and slots, and will be officially known as iLotto. The site will be powered by Playtech, and feature desktop and mobile compatibility.

The move comes as the Polish Ministry of Finance announced that there are now 4,806 domains on the online betting blacklist in the country. Of note, The Stars Group has seen their PokerStars brand added to the list, meaning that they cannot be accessed by punters within the country.

Punters in Poland are doing bang up business for Totalizator Sportowy, whose raked in PLN 5.6 billion ($1.5 billion USD) this year so far.

Are you a Polish punter? Have you tried out the new betting website? If so, let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
