Isle of Man based casino game developer Microgaming has announced that they've released their newest game 'Lucha Legends', which takes you south of the border and lets you partake in a Mexican wrestling match.

Lucha Legends is a 5 reel, 25 payline video slot that takes place in front of a wrestling ring and includes different wrestlers, a ring girl, and the referee, as well as standard slot symbols such as J, Q, K, and A.

The game's features include wild symbols, win multipliers, and Super Wilds. A Power Up mode has also been included, which can add extra wilds to the reels. The game can be played on desktop or mobile devices, and brings a cartoonish look and feel to it.

Commenting on the results Microgaming Game Publisher David Reynolds said, "Lucha Legends is a fun and vibrant slot that taps into the global popularity of professional Mexican wrestling, capturing the drama and excitement with several big-hitting features. In addition to 10 free spins, which can be retriggered, the Super Wild feature and Power Up Mode aim to enhance gameplay and increase the player's win potential. This is a beautifully animated game designed to deliver round after round of action and entertainment."

A video preview of the game has been published to YouTube and can be viewed below:

Lucha Legends is available for play now at casinos offering Microgaming's library of slots.

To be honest I'm not really impressed by this. The game looks ok, but it's once again the old-school Microgaming, same features and looks like payouts are also quite the average.

New game looks very dynamic with characters and features, but it seems to have very low line wins in 25 paylines.

It is kind of a new style in Microgaming, Netent and others to design with low line wins like 243 ways games...

Yeah, agree coolsongss, these 243 ways to win games became something of a standard these days but whether that's a good thing is another theme.
These days I don't spin on Microgaming slots as much as before, nowhere near really although that seems to be fun and I'm willing to take a shot.
