24 Year Old Man Dies During Gambling Raid

This story was published more than 5 years ago.

This week a 24 year old man in Hallomajra Village in India fell to his death during a police raid related to illegal gambling.

The raid came after police were given a tip that illegal gambling was taking place in the house. During the process, Rohit Kumar fell to his death from the roof of the house, but the events leading up to that are in question. Police maintain that Kumar fell trying to escape law enforcement, but his family has a different story. Witnesses claim police were stealing money from the card game going on. While this was happening, police allegedly roughed Kumar up, throwing him off the roof before fleeing the scene.

Those from the town as well as relatives of Kumar protested outside of the local police station, demanding that law enforcement treat the case as a murder. For their part, the agency is holding the body at the morgue, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death and damage to the corpse. A full probe on the incident will be conducted.

Casino Listings News will update this story and update readers as we learn more.

This is a tragic story which could be a scene in the movie...
Why and where would he be running from the illegal gambling house?

Yeah..a weird story really..hopefully after the autopsy being conducted there will be some more details revealed because obviously the relatives of the poor guy are convinced that wasn't an accident.
