Kindred and Scientific Games Sign Sportsbetting Deal

This week internet betting group Kindred announced that they signed a content deal with Scientific Games, which will see the two working together to launch a sportsbetting platform in New Jersey.

The agreement is good for the next three years and will see Kindred using the Open Platform System as well as the Open Gaming System. If the collaboration is successful, the two companies will have the option to expand to other states, should Kindred land gaming licenses. Scientific already has a lengthy history of working in U.S. casinos, as their technology powers various gaming tables, shufflers, and machines throughout the country.

Commenting on the deal Kindred US Senior VP Manuel Stan said, "We are delighted to partner with SG Digital in the US, giving us swift access to the market and our coming US customers a truly great gambling experience on a top technology platform.
