New Jersey's sportsbetting market is blossoming into a lucrative venture for the casino operators offering the service, and last week daily fantasy sports group DraftKings announced that they've processed their two millionth wager already.
The company announced that they processed the bet on Thursday of last week, revealing the milestone in less than two months time. DraftKings said that on their busiest days they've been processing more than 100,000 wagers. DraftKings had time to establish itself as the main player in New Jersey sportsbetting, as they had three weeks until a secondary betting app went live on the network.
Speaking about the achievement DraftKings CEO Jason Robins said, "The growth since NFL started is unbelievable. Overall, the product's growing, but it's really the NFL season starting that's making it take off. There were some days when we were processing 100,000 bets in a day."
"Every number we thought and projected, we're shattering. It's just unbelievable how much demand and how much excitement there is over sports betting."

Obviously the life can't be sweater right now for Draft Kings and no wonder a company from their size and a Fantasy Sports leader is also doing great as a bookie too, NFL start of the season helped that just a "little bit" too of course.
