Casino Heroes Releases Blitz Feature

This story was published more than 4 years ago.

Patrons of Casino Heroes have a supposedly "new feature" to help with their adventure on the site, as the company launched Blitz, which gives players the option to spin the reels faster.

The mode will not display any of the animations or effects as you play, rather showing off the amount of money you win with a lightning symbol encompassing it. It sounds awfully similar to, though marginally faster than the standard "click to instantly stop the reels" that most slots already have. The casino claims that their blitz mode plays up to six times faster than the standard slot play that you would normally encounter.

The mode is undoubtedly lucrative to the casino, as it likely means that players would be playing games with odds in the casino's favour much faster than before. This of course means that they are likely to lose money faster. It remains to be seen what regulators in countries that ban the already familiar "click to cut short the spins animation" move will think of this new development, though it is unlikely to be positive.

As of press time, only a certain selection of slots at Casino Heroes sport the blitz mode. Punters can identify the game by selecting a filter that includes only titles that have compatibility. Casino Heroes was formerly known as Casino Saga, and works to integrate functions of role playing elements such as character creation, levels, and more in their "casino adventure".

This is a strange move by Casino Heroes given the attention of the UKGC and other regulatory groups in Europe. It seems to be a case of dressing up something that most people already have (click to cut spin animations short) as some kind of new feature that no-one is asking for anyway.

CL-Ed I couldn't say it better myself. Not sure why any casino would feel the need to shine up an already unwanted feature.

If Casino Heroes would expand their deposit options for the mobile platform, I would play there lots.
I've been commenting everywhere for a couple years now, even with casino support there. I have gotten nowhere lol So naturally I felt the need to throw it out here as well.

Oh, I didn't know that the spin speed is also regulated by gambling authorities...
After reading the article, it makes sense to keep the spin from after spinning.

RTG games has instant spin feature which is roughly 5 times faster regular spins.
And Microgaming and NetEnt slots also have fast spin, but it is around 2 times faster as I feel.

Good information.

That's the obvious conclusion isn't it...can't say it better.
Enjoy the new mode in which you could loose your money 6x times faster then before!

Yeah I don't get it at all. The whole point of slots is to make a random number generator look pretty so that you're playing a game rather than just buying a lottery ticket every spin. This new thing Heroes is trying to promote hides the reels completely so all you do is press a button and see how much you won. Where's the fun in that?

Never thought of the slots that way Ed, but yeah I think you're right about it simplifying to a 'pretty lottery ticket" description.
More so there's already a stop the reels button to the most of the games for those who are a least patient..I agree it would kill any fun.
