Slotland Launches 'Stardust' Slot

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

Internet casino Slotland has announced the release of its newest in-house developed video slot 'Stardust', which promises punters and "out of this world" experience.

Stardust is a 5 reel, 15 payline video slot set in the middle of outer space, as you try to explore the heavens with an array of different space ships. The game's features include wild symbols, a pick'em game, and win multipliers of 500x the wagered amount. The game has been developed with desktop and mobile compatibility built in.

Our friends at Lyceum Media have made a video previewing the game, which can be seen below:

Commenting on the game's release Slotland manager Michael Hilary said, "You can bet as little as thirty cents a spin on this game. Even the max bet is only $6 so you can have a cosmos of fun without risking much money."

Stardust is available for play now exclusively at Slotland.

I have to say that the game looks really nice and I like the theme of it too. However my question is- can you launch a game with a name that is already released by another provider (I'm talking about Microgaming's Stardust slot)

Yeah I also noticed there's a game with the same name already but obviously the other brand didn't patent that which is their problem really.
One of the main advantages for the punters at Slotland & Winaday is the fact that they could play at exclusive games and this one is another example for that, sounds promising to me.

There's a third Stardust slot coming out from RTG - this one is set in an enchanted forest and has fairies!

Yeah it is common for slots from different developers to share the same name, especially when it is generic like this one.

And no one thought of patenting the name? Strange...either should be too expensive, not allowed or they just don't see the point of doing that.
But having an exclusive named slot should be a beneficial in some regards, don't you think?
