Internet betting group MoPlay has announced that they've signed a sponsorship deal with Manchester United, taking over the sponsorship spot that was given up by MarathonBet.
The agreement is good for multiple years and will see MoPlay getting exclusive marketing opportunities around the world. For MoPlay, the sponsorship is vital, as the company launched a new sportsbetting platform in June. The agreement comes just in time for the Premier League season, which starts up this weekend. Manchester United is one of the world's most recognizable clubs, and is celebrating their 140th season.
Commenting on the deal MoPlay CEO Jurgen Reutter said, "We are immensely proud to partner with what we regard as the biggest sports club in the world. Engaging in such a high-profile partnership so soon after our inception truly puts our exciting new brand on the map.
