Kindred Group Launches Gambling Therapy App

This story was published more than 6 years ago.

Yesterday online betting firm Kindred Group announced the release of their Gambling Therapy app, which provides problem gambling assistance to players.

The app is currently targeted to punters in the Nordic gaming markets, with language support in Danish, Finnish, Swedish, and Norwegian. The app is available on both the Google Play Store as well as Apple's App Store, and can be accessed on smartphones and tablets. Gambling Therapy's app provides text-based live chat assistance, self-assessment tools, mindfulness exercises, links to other counseling groups, links to blocking software, and crisis support information.

On the Gambling Therapy website a description of the app reads: "Problem gambling (sometimes referred to as gambling addiction) is an urge to gamble despite mounting negative consequences. The Gambling Therapy app has been designed to help those that are struggling with problem gambling by providing easy to access information and straightforward tools."

Those interested in reading more about the app can do so on the Official Gambling Therapy website.

That should be considered as a good initiative from the Kindred's side, hopefully it would be in help of a few(or why not more) addicted punters out there.
