Internet gaming group Betway has announced that they've signed a sponsorship deal with eGaming team Invictus Gaming for the upcoming Dota 2 season.
The deal makes Betway an official sponsor for the 2018 season, which will see Invictus participating in a series of tournaments, kicking off with The International 2018, which takes place later this month. Betway will get exclusive access to the team to help with branding campaigns, and the team's jerseys will feature the Betway logo as well.
The sponsorship is the latest for Betway, which recently announced that they're sponsoring a Counter Srike GO Major tournament next month.
Invictus is one of the most popular eSports teams around, having brought in several of the top video game players over the years. The team won The International in 2012, and is looking to get back their former glory.
Commenting on the deal Betway's Anthony Werkman said, "We are delighted to seal this sponsorship deal with Invictus Gaming, which marks our entry into the Dota 2 market.
"A strong brand with a rich history in esports, Invictus Gaming are one of the few teams to win The International, and we are extremely proud to bring them into the Betway family. After seeing incredible success in CSGO, we can't wait to replicate our market leading content in Dota 2 through this landmark partnership."
