Internet betting group Playtech has announced that they've partnered up with Ladbrokes Coral to expand its live dealer offering to include the opportunity to place a sportsbetting slip during gameplay.
The product is a first of its kind experience, which gives both parties a chance to double their income potential on a customer. The dealers on those tables are specifically trained to handle live commentary on the wagers, which in turn will enhance the offering for players. The idea for the product came last year when the two groups offered a roulette game during the Cheltenham Festival.
Commenting on the launch Playtech Head of Live Casino Innovation Kevin Kilminster said, "This is the first time any provider has delivered a full solution to bring an operator sportsbook offering into the Live Casino client."
Ladbrokes Casino Product Manager Antonio Ruggeri also commented, noting: "Following the highly successful launch of Cheltenham Roulette last year, we're delighted to be partnering with Playtech again to launch the industry's first fully integrated bet slip."
"This technology adds a brand-new dimension to our Live offering and is a great opportunity for players who enjoy sports betting to try out the Live Casino environment without missing out on any of the action. We're confident the new bet slip will get a great reaction from players during the World Cup and beyond."
