LeoVegas to Use Wag.io for Compliance

This story was published more than 5 years ago.

Internet betting group LeoVegas has announced that they've signed an agreement with Wag.io to help with compliance laws within the UK.

The agreement will see LeoVegas using the Wag.io software to ensure that the operator is in compliance of the laws, which are stricter than many of the other regions in which Leo operates. The group feels that they're mostly compliant with the laws, but are using the software as a way to find any potential errors that they may have missed on affiliate sites, of which LeoVegas is responsible under UK regulation.

Wag.io was founded to work with affiliate sites to ensure compliance with various laws in different regions.

Commenting on the decision to use the software, LeoVegas Sales and Compliance Executive Matthew Curmi said, "(The software allows us) to constantly monitor and review the ads and marketing materials our affiliates are using."

No details on whether or not the software is already being used was available as of press time.

It's admirable I think that Leo Vegas looking to follow all the rules but it's also a pretty useful deal for them that there will be someone else to watch for all the laws that could be broken in any particular area they operate so it wont harm anybody and this is the professional way the business should be run I think.
