Irish poker group KamaGames has announced their first half 2018 financial results, revealing that revenues were up 53% during the period.
Key financial indicators and highlights for the first half ending June 30th, 2018 were:
- Revenues of $87.9 million, up 53% from the same period last year
- Daily active users of 530,000 up nearly double from 270,000 active users last year
- Split Bet Poker, Set Poker, and slot releases during the period, driving new play
In an email to betting news site CalvinAyre.com, KamaGames CEO Andrey Kuznetsov said, "Our gross revenue growing by 53% in the same period from an already strong base of $57.5 million as reported in the 2017 annual results figures is definitely something to shout about.
"I am very pleased to be able to say no [we haven't seen a decrease in daily active users]. We have experienced steady growth in all markets, some are more active than others, but there is no decrease in any of them."

I'm not a regular poker player but even I've heard of that Irish brand, obviously they doing more than well in the past year to almost double the numbers which is really impressive I think.
