Internet betting group Betway has announced that it has signed a three year sponsorship deal with AS Roma, getting their logo placed on the club's training kit.
The agreement will run through the 2020/2021 season and will open up Betway to offer advertising with the club, including creating digital ads and stadium signage. No terms on the consideration paid by Betway was available as of press time. The Italian club plays in Serie A, which is scheduled to begin play in just about five weeks.
Commenting on the agreement Betway's Anthony Werkman said, "We're very excited to be partnering with a great club like AS Roma, in what is our first partnership in Italian football. Roma have a huge fanbase and we hope this three-year deal will give us some great exposure over the course of the next few seasons."
AS Roma Director of Global Business Development Kaitlyn Colligan also commented, noting: "We're delighted to announce Betway as a Main Global Partner and look forward to seeing their name on our training kits this season."
