British betting group bet365 is heading stateside as the company signed a sportsbetting deal with the new Hard Rock Atlantic City property, providing a sportsbetting brand through the resort.
Bet365 is approved on a temporary basis, having signed a letter of intent with the Hard Rock on June 19th. The group is planning on getting an official gaming license by July 31st to continue offering their product.
Details on the exact product are scarce at the moment, but it's believed that a sportsbetting product will be flowing out shortly for the new Hard Rock, which launched its online casino this week. It's believed that bet365 will offer a component for a land based sportsbook, although plans for a mobile and online product are also reportedly in the works.
