Leander Games Launches 'Afterlife: Inferno'

Internet casino software group Leander Games has announced the launch of their newest video slot 'Afterlife: Inferno', which has a fantasy theme and packs in an array of features.

The game is a 5 reel video slot that features a medieval setpiece and is based on Dante's Divine Comedy. The game is live now at select sites with Betsson, SlotsMillion, and PokerStars and will be distributed to more sites later on. The slot's features include wilds, re-spins, wild reels, and free spins. The game is available in Flash format and can be played on desktop computers.

The game was designed with Ian Sims, a former slot game developer that ran an affiliate site. He strived to make the game more interactive for players in order to draw in interest. "You see so many games that come out and I would say that 90 percent are standard fodder and copies of old slots," Sims said. "Most of them don't try and connect with players like me and captivate us with the right mechanics."

Leander CEO Steven Matsell added: "Afterlife: Inferno is designed by an expert slots player to appeal to other players who like high-variance games with the potential of massive multiplier wins. In partnership with Ian, we have brought together the right maths model and the right hit rates for a specific demographic of player."

I think it's a cool themed slot and although the game developer is maybe not one of the very top names in the industry(in my opinion) I'm looking forward to take a shot at this one whenever it's possible.
