D88 to Sponsor Snooker Tournament

Online betting site D88 has announced that they've reached an agreement to become the title sponsor of the European Masters snooker tournament, which will give the group a marketing boost throughout Europe.

The agreement will see the Asia-focused online betting site getting title rights to the tournament, which will run from October 1st through the 7th in Lommel Belgium. The sponsorship will give D88 the chance to broaden their presence in Europe, as the event will be widely spectated by fans of the game. The snooker sponosrship is the second for D88, as the group already sponsors the German Masters in Berlin.

Commenting on the agreement D88.com Commercial Director Dara Qin said, "D88.com are doing everything in our power to support snooker, as we love the sport; we will work closely with the snooker world to present more excellence in the near future."

World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn also commented, noting: "We are very pleased to welcome D88.com on board for the European Masters; this is an extremely prestigious tournament contested by the world's leading players at a superb venue."
