On Thursday a punter spinning the reels on the NetEnt slot Hall of Gods at Paf Casino hit the game's Mega Jackpot for a large €2,701,181 cash prize.
This latest big win on the Hall of Gods slot machine is the 16th win since we started tracking its jackpot in late 2010. The average jackpot win for this game is €5,701,714, with the record being €7,820,888, which was hit at Betsson in 2015.
The jackpot is one of three available, alongside the Mini and Midi, which offer small prizes. The prize is won when players are able to advance to the jackpot bonus round and then use Thor's hammer to reveal three jackpot symbols. If you get three matching symbols, you win the prize!
We'll be updating readers as we learn more about the win.
UPDATE: Details on the win have emerged. The win came from a Finnish punter who bet €2 on his or her winning spin. NetEnt's Henrik Fagerlund spoke about the win, noting: "We have another example here of how NetEnt's games can change people's lives, and the Mega Million campaign will give us even more chances to do just that.
"We have had three seven-figure jackpot wins this month alone and I am confident we will see more before the end of the year."

Oh, smaller than the average, but it is still a very big Jackpot.
I haven't been playing this game lately, after winning only the smallest wins in the Jackpot bonus games 🙂
Good luck for the players of this great game.
Poor guy, he's been really unlucky 🙂 Still it should be enough if he/she wants to quit his day job I guess 😉
Nice win and congrats to the winner, you can see that this win was at Paf and the winner also should had gotten the extra 350k from the Mega Millions promotion from Netent.
