Betting group Scout Gaming has announced that they've struck a deal with GML Interactive to launch a new Daily Fantasy Sports platform on the Betano and Stoiximan brands.
The agreement will see Scout deploying their DFS product to the companies, which will then be offered to customers in the Greek, Romanian and Cyprus markets. DFS products allow players to build lineups for various events. Lineups that perform the best generate cash prizes for players, while those who don't perform lost out.
Scout Gaming CEO Andreas Ternstrom spoke about the deal, revealing: "The fact that GML Interactive, owner of a dedicated sports brand and one of the largest private actors in Greece, chooses to do this with Scout Gaming clearly shows that the DFS vertical continues its establishment in Europe and that we have the leading B2B product."
GML Interactive's George Kourakos added: "We work actively with our sports offer and want to ensure that we can always offer our customers the best product. We employ an active sporting engagement and are involved in a number of sponsorships, which is why this area is particularly important to us. With Scout Gaming's product we see opportunities to further develop the product offering and at the same time establishing a new sports vertical in a European liquidity network."

I think DFS as a way of gambling is not a widlye spread here at the Bolkans and being able to offer their product now Scout Gaming would have to do a bit of advertising their own to attract a wider auditory I guess, but it's a good start for them.
