This story was published more than 5 years ago.

Internet betting group ORYX Gaming has announced that they've obtained the necessary license to begin offering their services within Romania.

The licensing will now allow the ORYX platform to go live with casino operators in the country. The company holds bingo, sportsbetting, poker, lottery, and casino games in their pocket, and can also provide backend tools to operators. The company's partners include iSoftBet, Kiron, Kalamba, and more. With the launch in Romania, ORYX now operates in eleven different countries.

ORYX CEO Matevz Mazij spoke about the achievement, revealing: "Regulated markets form a key part of our growth strategy and entering Romania is a fantastic opportunity for our business. We are hoping to receive a great deal of interest from operators active in the Romanian territory, who are looking to improve Omni-channel capabilities and offer an extended portfolio of iGaming content."

I believe the Romanian gambling market is a bit underestimated by many of the leading casino operators in the past years but maybe not so lately when we already saw many of the brands interested to deal there and Oryx is another example of that.
