Net Ent to Augment Live Casino With World Cup Info

This story was published more than 5 years ago.

Swedish game developer Net Ent is aiming to keep players informed about the upcoming 2018 World Cup while playing their games, having integrated widgets that will provide game info to punters.

The company released its World Cup Free Round Widget for slots one week ago, but the live dealer product is coming next month. The live product is dubbed Live Sports Roulette, which will have an assortment of widgets, real time news, and more, all while offering the company's live roulette. That product is slated for release on June 14th. The widget will be available for the Live Roulette game on both desktop and mobie devices.

Commenting on the product Net Ent's Chief Product Officer Henrik Fagerlund said, "Live Sports Roulette offers a truly immersive football experience, while players enjoy our live games."

"With the World Cup just around the corner, it's the perfect opportunity to introduce Goal Smash Roulette, giving players a chance to win daily prizes as well as staying on top of all the action during the tournament."

I think generally that this idea is a reasonable one but the picture above the news...well this is pretty much like a fantasy league score 🙂

Yeah hahahah that sure isn't going to happen, only in an Englishman's dreams! 😀 Maybe that is a publicity photo intended only for the UK market!

I'm wondering if this might backfire on them - when people see a game is on they start to cash out so they can go and watch it instead.

Yeah, they probably didn't thought of that but I think it's quite possible for the punters who would be really interested in the world cup, not if you're on a winning streak though!

So probably in France would be the other way round 😉
Probably if those teams meat each other at all it would be an "entertaining" 0-0 tie, that would not be appropriate for an advertising banner I guess 😉
