Internet betting group 888 Holdings has announced that they've officially rolled out their 888Poker product in multiple U.S. states, giving players in each region the chance to play against each other.
The launch is live in Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey using the WSOP, All American Poker Network, and Delaware Lottery as conduits to deliver the product. Online poker has seriously lagged behind other online casino games in the states, as small player pools lead to stagnation. It's hoped that by combining these pools, poker companies will reach the numbers they need to be sustainable in the lucrative American market.
Commenting on the launch 888's CEO Itai Frieberger said, "The launch of the 888-powered interstate poker network is another significant milestone for the US iGaming market.
"Poker players across all three regulated states can compete with each other through the 888 unique, proprietary platform.
"This is great news for customers and our partners and further demonstrates 888's commitment and unique position in the regulated US online iGaming market."

That looks to be very reasonable move and I guess all the time and effort put in from the company will pay off in the end, should be a more diversified environment for the players themselves.
