Casino operator LeoVegas has announced that they've signed a sponsorship deal with the Swedish Open, which will give the brand exposure at the tennis tournament.
The event is scheduled to be held from July 15th through the 22nd in Båstad, and will draw 40,000 fans. The tournament has been held for the last 70 years and is one of the larger tournaments in the country. LeoVegas will take the role of a principal partner, gaining visibility and marketing opportunities in the process. No details on the consideration paid were not made available to press.
Commenting on the deal LeoVegas CEO Gustaf Hagman said, "Last year's successful sponsor partnership with the Swedish Open in Båstad was a strategic effort to profile LeoVegas Sport and our offering in tennis. This venture whet our appetite, and we have therefore chosen to ramp up our sponsorship from official partner to become one of the Swedish Open's principal partners."
