Unibet Poker Returns to Ireland

This story was published more than 6 years ago.

This month the Kindred Group announced that their Unibet Poker brand was returning to the Irish online poker market after having previously bolted in 2015.

The group is making its presence known with sponsorships in the country, including the Chip Race podcast, while also bringing in the show's hosts as brand ambassadors. The company is also offering exclusive bonuses designed to help lure players back. Additionally, the company will be sponsoring the 2018 Irish Love Poker Rankings tournament.

Chip Race podcast host Dara O'Kearney spoke about Unibet's decision to jump into Ireland again and sponsor his show, revealing: "It was only when Unibet came to us towards the end of 2016 was there potential life back into the podcast. Unibet Head of Poker David Pomroy was very interested in working with us and The Chip Race was very much part of his thinking when signing us. The show obviously became not an Irish oriented show. We still have Irish guests on but it is much more of an international show looking to have a much broader appeal these days."

Unibet means quality in every aspect of their business so I guess the Irish poker players would enjoy the news, Unibet should be happy themselves as it seems.
