Kindred Closes Stan James Online

Internet betting firm Kindred Group has announced that they've made the decision to close Stan James Online.

The move comes after Kindred moved the customer accounts to the Unibet platform, ensuring that the accounts and balances held were ported over in full. Kindred purchased Stan James' online gaming division in 2015 for £19 million.

Those visiting the site are now given the following message: "For the past 18 months, had been powered by Unibet. As of 26th February 2018 you have been moved over to Unibet.

"The move will provide you with an improved experience in Sportsbook, Casino, Bingo and Poker. has now been closed down and you have one account at Unibet.

"Unibet are pioneers of the online betting industry and, together with, bring you over 35 years of sports heritage and a global brand that includes over 12 million players worldwide.

"Our joint expertise will deliver a constantly improving online experience and high quality customer service."

So in fact Unibet/Kindred bout Stan James just to liquidate the site and not compete their own sites, that's pretty often move in business I'm afraid but I'm not sure how moral is it and I guess some Stan James employees will be left without a job didn't even mentioning the fact that some punters wouldn't like that either.
