Danish gaming group Danske Spil announced today that they've launched their new brand Youbet within Denmark, allowing players to get in on a new slate of games.
Danske Spil is the Danish state lottery provider, and the new site is powered by , which provides sportsbetting and casino services to players. Youbet will bring in more than 1,000 titles for punters to test their luck with. The product is expected to help boost revenues at Danske Spil, which brought in €792 million last year.
Commenting on the launch Danske Spil CEO Niels Erik Folmann said, "Danske Spil has executed a very strong strategy in terms of maintaining our market share since regulation in 2012, exceeding all market expectations. We are now taking the next step towards faster growth by adding a new brand to our portfolio, targeting players who demand a deep sports and casino offering."
SBTech's CEO Richard Carter also commented, revealing: "This partnership is another major milestone for SBTech as it establishes itself as the leading provider of fully managed platform solutions and services to state lotteries and major operators in regulated markets worldwide."
