Net Ent to Develop 'Jumanji' Slot

This story was published more than 5 years ago.

Swedish casino game developer Net Ent has announced that they've signed a distribution deal with Sony and will develop and distribute a Jumanji slot, playing off the surprise blockbuster hit's release less than a month ago.

The announcement was made in a tweet by Net Ent, which read:

No details on the game's release or details about the slot itself have been revealed, but there's a pretty good chance we'll see the game revealed at ICE in London during the first week of February. We'll update readers as we learn more.

To be honest didn't saw the movie and I'm not planning to but surprised from the lightning NetEnt reaction to be able to release that slot so soon after it, or they just planned that earlier?!

Jumanji can be a great theme for slots (or even some other type of games).
I hope that they would make it for higher winnings and fun both.
These days, new slots of NetEnt are more of fun elements, as I fee.

Everything from NetEnt leads me to believe it's based on the new movie, but the footage in the video looks like the old one. I did get down to the theater this past weekend to see Jumanji, and I thought it was pretty good. My kids loved it. There was a fair bit of swearing, but other than that it was something really good for kids.

My kids saw the new movie and they thought it was excellent too. That video footage is definitely from the old movie though.
