Swedish gaming firm Yggdrasil Gaming has announced the upcoming release of a new set of bingo products, as the company expands its product line.
The new bingo addition will be designed with mobile devices in mind and will feature a multiplayer aspect. The thought process is to allow players to enjoy bingo games while on the go. While mobile may be the focus, players will also be able to play the games via their desktop devices as well. On the backend, the games will support the Yggdrasil BOOST promotional tools, allowing casinos to tailor bingo-centric bonuses to their customers.
The bingo platform will also have mini versions of the company's slot machines included, allowing operators the chance to offer the games while the bingo numbers are being called.
Speaking about the decision to enter a new market Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said, "We've been analysing bingo for some time and have realised there's exciting potential to innovate in what has become a relatively dormant area of the industry.
"With our in-house social and gaming expertise, we believe we can offer a fresh dimension to bingo. This can attract a new demographic of player to the market on a much lower CPA basis compared to casino, driving revenues directly and indirectly through our BOOST™ tools and mini-slots integration.
"On launch, players will recognise industry-first features for bingo which have been adapted from the wider casino space, reinvigorating the much-loved pastime and raising the bar against other products on the market."
The games are slated to go live in the next few months, with more info being provided at ICE in London next year.

Sounds like a natural next step for them to be involved in the bingo sector as their name already is quite recognisable in casino games branch, what would be the quality of games they would offer to the bingo players it's another theme.
