Internet betting group Microgaming has announced the release of their newest video slot 'Highlander', which is based on the hit film of the same name.
Highlander is a 5 reel, 243 ways to win video slot that is set against rolling hills. The game features Christopher Lambert's Connor MacLeod as he faces off against The Kurgman for a fight looking for immortality. Features in the game include two wild features, scatters, free spins, and electric reels that randomly turn symbols wild. The game has a max payout of 102,500 credits, and comes as a result of a licensing deal between Microgaming and Creative Licensing. Highlander was announced earlier this year, and is one of the most highly anticipated games for the month of December.

An epic soundtrack composed by our game studio is a great tribute to the brand. This game appears to be good with one Scatter and Wild symbol.

I've never watched the movie so I had no idea about the inspiration for this game. Clearly 80s theme is big for online slots as well as tv series. It looks quite interesting if you ask me- not sure about the winning potential but will try.
