Winamax Signs Two Pro Poker Players to Sponsorship Deal

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

This week internet poker group Winamax has announced that they've signed two poker players to sponsorship deal, as the company gets ready to launch its poker liquidity service in Europe.

Winamax signed Italian player Mustapha Kanit and Spaniard Adrian Mateos to sponsorship deals. The company is looking to expand into the gaming territories, and is looking for fresh faces to promote the service to a generation of younger players. The two players will promote the European poker brand, appearing in marketing promotions and taking part in tournaments for the brand.

The Winamax brand is launching player liquidity services in France, Spain, Italy, and Portigual, which have all signed off on sharing players on the service. This will allow players in the different countries to all play at the same tables, boosting player numbers and potentially revenues.

No comment from any party involved in the deal was available as of press time.

Good times to be a professional poker player I guess, these kind of contracts are not only nice bonus for the players but sometimes even more lucrative for them then their primary income, serves nice to the brand as well.
