This week lawmakers in New Hampshire was brought back to life after it was re-introduced into the legislature, months after it was put in a sub-committee to die.
HB 562-FN came back from the deal and has re-entered the state's legislative schedule, and is scheduled to be heard on October 25th. The bill is short in stature, considered to be a stub as it only puts a paragraph into the state's gambling laws. The bill would exempt online gambling from being illegal, but doesn't put any verbiage in place for regulation of the activity.
The slow progress of the bill has led to speculation that a new online betting bill could be introduced which would feature regulatory measures. Still, if that doesn't occur and the bill is passed into law, it will become active on January 1st of next year.
We'll be updating this story as we learn more.

Obviously it's still not certain what will happen there but maybe the regulatory measures that could be included would be a plus for the bill to go true.
