The Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau revealed that VIP numbers were up 35% in the third quarter from July 1st through September 30th, 2017.
VIP baccarat Gross Gaming Revenue was MOP 38.69 million ($4.81 USD) during the period, which accounted for 57.7% of all Macau revenue for the quarter. That number is up from 52.1% from last year. Mass Market Gross Gaming Revenues were up 7.4% to MOP 28.32 billion, up from MOP 26.36 billion last year.
Mass Market baccarat numbers were also up 7% to MOP 20.88 billion. The game accounted for 31.2% of all of Macau's revenues. Slot machine revenues were also up 13.4% to MOP 3.22 billion, up from MOP 2.84 billion.
Macau's gaming market was improved over the past two years after China ended its crackdown on extravagance and wealth.
