IGT to Close Its Online Casino Brands

This story was published more than 6 years ago.

Worldwide gambling giant IGT has announced that they've made the decision to to close all of their online casino brands, which will result in MoobileGames, TouchMyBingo, VeryVegas, EliteMobileCasino, and LadyLucks all closing their doors.

The announcement was made in an email to affiliates, revealing that no new players will be accepted beginning today. Players who already accounts will no longer be allowed to make deposits as of September 13th. Those with accounts will be able to continue to play and withdraw funds until November 27th, when the brands will shut down.

All of the casinos associated with IGTpartners were well-regarded by our site and others. The casinos had exclusively IGT games, published RTP percentages, and was regulated by the UK Gambling Commission.

No reason for the closures was given by IGT as of press time. We're working to remove all of our links and bonuses attached to the sites and will update you as we learn more about the closure.

Obviously they've decided to concentrate to other part of the business instead of running those casinos and I guess it make sense for them - financially.

Well everything happens for a reason and I am sure they had good reasons for doing that.

I think that they started to provide the slot machines for land casinos, right ?
I didn't play in their casinos, but I thought that the online slots were not that interesting at all, either.

Actually they are predominantly a land casino slots developer and their slots are usually released to land casinos first. I think their online properties suffered because they only accepted UK players and they were only playable on mobile devices. Even if you wanted to play them on your PC you couldn't, which struck me as a strange strategy.
