Internet casino game designer Playtech and it's BGT Sports subsidiary have announced that they've expanded their retail agreement with betting group Coral.

The agreement will gee Playtech BGT providing its sportsbetting software to more than 450 different tablet betting terminals throughout the UK which are currently operating under the Coral brand. The terminals are placed near television streams of events and expand on in-play wagering.

Speaking about the extension Playtech BGT Sports Managing Director in the UK John Pettit said, "Our terminals and software solutions are re-shaping the betting shop industry as bookmakers realize the benefits of digitizing the retail space, both to their bottom line and their user experience."

Ladbrokes Coral Retail Commercial Director Richard Lang added: "We believe strongly in utilizing best-in-class technologies and PBS deliver us the best digital, retail offering around, providing an improved experience for our sportsbook customers."

Obviously these betting terminals became a very important par of the business of every one of the top bookie who operate at the UK market and that's quite understandable I think because of the number of opportunities they give to the punters.
