Burnbet Casino Caught Using Pirated Games

This story was published more than 7 years ago.

Internet casino Burnbet has been caught using pirated casino games from top developers like Novomatic, EGT, and Aristocrat, and even telling the investigating site that they won't stop offering the games.

The investigation was carried out by our sister site Latest Casino Bonuses, and the team found out that the casino's games were being pirated by analyzing the host site providing the games. When things didn't match up with legitimate original servers, the team knew something was up.

The LCB team reached out to Burnbet to inform them of the pirated games, as some casinos are unaware that they're offering pirated games because they work through platform groups. Unfortunately though, the Burnbet team told investigators that they have paid out all winnings from all games, and have "too many active players on the site", and will not be pulling the games.

The company did claim to be working with new platform providers and will be adding new games in the future, but did not expressly say they're removing the offending games. This is a huge concern, as pirated games could have their odds adjusted to be unfair for players, and are illegal as they are stealing from the developers. Because of this, we urge players to avoid playing at this site moving forward.

Full Disclosure: LCB is a sister-site to Casino Listings.

That is so disappointing. I actually played there once and had no bad experiences but this says it all. I feel like it is so risky and just disappoining to scam players with pirated games. Gladly someone discovered it.

The worst thing is that the casino will still offering the games despite the reveals of the LCB team (good job by them) so I'm not sure if they're fully aware of what they doing or if they just don't care which is probably as bad.
