Yggdrasil Enters Italian Market

Online casino game designer Yggdrasil Gaming has announced that they've entered the Italian gaming market thanks to integrating its titles into GVC's Gioco Digitale site.

The deal makes Gioco Digitale the first casino to offer Yggdrasil's games in the regulated territory, and the group is poised to offer their games to bwin.it (also owned by GVC) later this year. All eleven of Yggdrasil's games are being ported over to the site, including the popular Jokerizer games. On the back end of things, GVC sites will get access to Yggdrasil's BOOST and BRAG social and promotional tools.

Speaking about the occasion Yggdrasil Gaming CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said, "This is a very special moment as the Italian market has seen a significant increase in mobile gaming in recent years. Yggdrasil can boast one of the best mobile game interfaces in the industry, so we are excited to see how customers react to our titles. The integration has been smooth and together with GVC we are now working to get Yggdrasil games on bwin.it up in the near future."

GVC Holdings Chief Product Officer Liron Snir added: "We are thrilled to be the first operator to bring Yggdrasil games to the Italian market. It has been a pleasure to work with the Yggdrasil team throughout what has been a straightforward integration process, and we look forward to seeing how these fantastic titles perform."
