$3,721,722 Mega Moolah Mega Jackpot Won

This story was published more than 6 years ago.

A few minutes before press time a puner hit a huge progressive jackpot win when they took home the Mega Moolah Mega prize for a whopping $3,721,722.

We don't have details on the win as of yet, but we can confirm that our tracker picked up on the win 23 minutes before we went to press. The prize is the 34th in the jackpot's history and comes just three weeks after a player hit it for $8,011,567. On average the jackpot pays out $5,546,860 and the biggest win is £13,212,882, which was won by Jon Heywood at Betway.

The Mega Moolah Mega Jackpot is won randomly and can be hauled in from an array of different slots in the developer's library. We will be updating this story as more developments arise.

UPDATE: The details on the win were revealed by Microgaming, which shared that the jackpot was struck at Tipico. The player is remaining anonymous, and has already had the money paid out in one lump sum. Speaking about the win Tipico COO Marlon van der Goes said, "We are delighted that another big jackpot has been hit by one of our customers!"

Microgaming's David Reynolds also commented, noting: "Two hits in one month on the same casino - it's no wonder Mega Moolah is often referred to as the 'Millionaire Maker'! Congratulations to Tipico and their player on this mega win."

It's quite low below the average one but I'm sure the lucky punter don't care too much about that and he shouldn't really, most of us would never win such a "low" Jackpot.
