The state of Nevada has revealed their March state gambling numbers, revealing casinos brought in $991 million, up 7.5% from last year.

The numbers are a rebound from February, which saw revenues fall from last year. The numbers are also $45.4 million higher than the month prior and are a positive sign for the state's land casinos, as the results came despite an 11% drop in baccarat revenues.

The Las Vegas Strip brought in gaming revenues of $526.1 million, up 8%, while Downtown Las Vegas saw $62.9 million, which is up 22.6%.

For the first quarter of the year, casino revenues are up 4.8% from last year, showcasing a sustained rebound from the lows felt a few years ago.
