This story was published more than 6 years ago.

Land casino giant Hard Rock International has announced that they're gearing up to invest $375 million in rennovating the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City.

The group officially purchased the casino from billionaire Carl Icahn this year and took custody of the property on March 31st. The project will create 1,000 construction jobs as well as 3,000 permanent positions in the casino once it is opened. The new property will be named the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and will open its doors in summer 2018.

The resort will feature 2,400 slot machines, 130 game tables, and a 400 seat entertainment venue that will have better stage and beach access. There will also be two new arenas built with more than 7,000 seats.

Hard Rock International has 11 casino locations around the globe, and puts on more 30,000 concerts each year. The group is planning for music to play a central role in their New Jersey property. It is currently unknown if the group plans to launch an online casino from its new venue.

We will be following the development of the site and will update this story as more developments arise.

Well those are some great news for many people who live in that region as it will give so many vacancies for people who're looking for a job. That sounds really nice to me.

Obviously Hard Rock know what they're doing and the great part is that many work places will be opened there, beach access sounds really great... 👍
