This week Dutch lawmakers took steps to liberalize the land casino industry in the country, as they want to privatize the Holland Casino.
The Dutch Lower House approved a bill that would privatize Holland Casino, which would split up fourteen different land venues. The bill would see four listed individually, while ten of the properties would still remain in one chunk. The goal of the privitization is to raise €1 billion for the federal government, and two new gaming licenses would be created as a result.
The bill will now have to move on to the Dutch Senate for debate and approval.
Casino Listings is following the bill, and will update this story as it progresses.
