Gaming Innovation Group Enters UK Market

Internet betting firm Gaming Innovation Group has announced that they've been awarded a UK remote gaming license, and will thus be able to launch its products in the market as a result.

GIG oversees the operation of both Guts Casino and Super Lenny, both of which are highly regarded betting sites. The move comes shortly after the company raised $400 million in capital, and comes on the heels of the German launch of their sportsbetting site Wetten.com. In addition to the Guts and Super Lenny brands, GIG also owns the Thrills Casino, Kaboo, Rizk, and BetSpin sites.

Speaking about the licensing GIG CEO Robin Reed said, "The UK is amongst the most competitive markets for sports betting worldwide and entering the market is a bold statement of our intentions within sports betting and within our regulated market strategy."
