GameIOM Gets Gibraltar Gaming License

This story was published more than 6 years ago.

Internet betting group GameIOM has announced that they've been granted a gaming license by the Gibraltar gaming regulator, allowing the group to distribute games to casino operators.

The license will serve as a large opening for GameIOM, as the company has signed content deals with operators like William Hill, who will open up the designer's games to countries throughout Europe.

It should be noted that GameIOM may still have issues getting their products into the United Kingdom, as the group doesn't appear to have a UK Gaming License, which is required for all sites offering services in the UK, as the new betting laws stipulate that licenses from outside regulators like Gibraltar or Alderney are not enough.

It looks like an enormous deal for GameIOM, a big opportunity for them, certainly partnership with one of the giants in business could only be a positive thing despite the absence of UK license which they probably they should conciser gaining quickly as possible.
