Golden Nugget Launches New 'Billion Dollar Buyer' Slots

This story was published more than 7 years ago.

This week the Golden Nugget brand of casinos announced that they have released a new series of slots based on the CNBC show 'Billion Dollar Buyer' exclusively at their group of land casinos.

The game is based on the hit television show of the same name and sees tycoon Tilman Fertitta getting pitched by entrepreneurs on ideas throughout the United States, where he floats the idea of a purchase order with the businesses he visits. Fertitta is the CEO of the Golden Nugget, and he built his name in the restaurant industry, and he oversees the Landry's Inc. group of restaurants, which employs more than 60,000 people.

The games will go live at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Laughlin, Atlantic City, Biloxi, and Lake Charles. The games are available for play now at the sites.

Commenting on the release Fertitta said, "I've really enjoyed being a part of the show and having an impact on these small businesses. Starting a business is always a gamble, and I had to find a way to commemorate this experience at my casinos. Now players can win big against the Billion Dollar Buyer at any of the Golden Nugget properties."

To be honest I've had never saw 'Billion Dollar Buyer' show but I guess if it's so successful than the impementation of the theme in a new series of slots would be a successful move too. Not guaranteed of course but the punters in US would be curious about it probably.
